Re: Detail Mist!!

Yes, claybar works great! But you have to wax when you're done.

Always man! The Mother's claybar kit was the first stuff I ever used and I loved it.

Re: Detail Mist!!

I got some Wizards Mist n Shine in a drawing. It worked great on my GoldWing. it got real slippery and shiney which is the idea right?? Not sure on the price.

I didn't use it on the seat, I think I gained horsepower too.

Re: Detail Mist!!

Simple Green and a tooth brush followed by ArmorAll for the inside. For the outside, I wash with Meguires something or other (purple stuff) then wax with Turtle Wax.

Pretty basic supplies, but if I take my time and do it right, it makes my 10 year old truck literally look brand new!

The main purpose of clay bar is to remove any contamination or fallout on the vehicles surface. It'll remove overspray, tree sap, tar, rail dust, etc. Makes the paint very smooth too. I picked up a 200g bar since it'll last longer.
