Question Deep scratches

Can I remove scratches that are through the paint with a buffer? I'm curious as to how to remove these indented scratches. I may just have to deal with these "war wounds" to my truck. Anyone help me?

naw man, just go down to auto zone or somewhere and get the paint pen that will match your color and just hope for the best.....that's all i have to say, but i work at a body shop and having a scratch like that would not be a problem for me so......

Re: Deep scratches

be carefull with that wet sanding... 99 has a 2 stage and if it factory the clear is super thin. If you wet sand trough the clear then you will have flat dull paint. color without a clear dosen't buff to a shine...EVER.

I would go with a paint pen or brush and just put severale coats on the fill in the scratch. you can use like a 2500 presoak type of paper and lightly sand it to flaten the build up. If you take your time nobody will ever notice
