decals....

im not sure if im in the right topic area, but going to post here anyways......im just wondering how to take decals off the windows? what is the best way to do so with out scratching them?

A razor blade works well and it won't scratch unless you have dirt under it.

i always use a razor blade, then some goo gone, or alcohol to get residue off behind it

razor blade, blowdryer, and goo gone...just have the blow dryer above the decal for a few seconds then start using razor blade to remove the decal. The heat will loosen up the gumminess of the decal and the razor blade should take it right off. Goo gone over the residue left over and your done. Works really good for large decals. Also works well on emblems and trimmings on vehicle but DO NOT I repeat DO NOT USE RAZOR BLADE on the vehicles surface...b/c it will scratch off the paint...unless you got mad skills with a razor!!! lol. Intead use a plastic cake frosting spreader to wedge under the emblem and go very slowly all the while heating emblem but not too long on one area b/c the heat can bubble the paint.
