Cola remove chrome rust??

i heard cola such as coke, will remove rust on chrome? is this true? does it work?

it was done on mythbusters and it worked better than the chrome polish they tested it against. i would try it if i had chrome.

i may go try it on dads belair when i get home....i hve gotta polish it up for spring anyways..the building we store it in has lots of condensation....the bumpers and all are hazed over and spoty..hmmm

did u know if u take milk chocolate and apply it with aluminum foil, it will polish aluminum, i tried it on the bottom of a pop can, turned out shiny as a mirror after a couple minutes of rubbin it on.

for the guys that want to try the nail in a can of coke.....it has to be an aluminum nail for it to work right....and the reason coke doesnt hurt you when u drink it is because your stomach acid dillutes the acid and the inside of your stomach has to be able to withstand stomach acid which has a Ph level close to that of battery acid.

I thought they did it with just coke and a rag on mythbusters... somone go try it... one side with coke & foil, the other side with coke and a rag
