clearcoated rims

i have a set of xtreme alloys and they are clear coated aluminum. Can i use turtle wax or something similar to polish my wheels with?

You "can", however, a good sealant will last longer and be easier to use.
Also, make sure to use a good microfiber towel to get into the hard to reach area's of the wheels..., it really makes the job much easier.

Your wheels are clear coated and can be treated with wax just like the paint on your truck. If you want you can use a paint cleaner, polish and wax. I like using Meguiars. After waxing, mine stay claner longer. The brake dust doesn't stick as much.

How exactly does the towel determine how easy it is to get into a "hard to reach area" on an oem x wheel?
