Re: Cleaning tires on chrome wheels..

i had that brown shit on my front tires, real bad. i used a brass brush, dish soap, and elbow grease.

these days, i don't put as much tire dressing on. and the brown shit hasn't come back.

Re: Cleaning tires on chrome wheels..

this is the stuff i use it comes with alittle applicator to spread the stuff around and with low profile tires it makes it alot easier than spraying and getting it all over the wheel. plus i swear this stuff last foreverrrrr well mabey not forever but it keeps the tire looking good for a pretty long time even if it rains.

That may have not answered what you were asking at all. if so i am sorry lol.

I use a hard bristle brush I got at Auto Zone by Black Magic. It's a red/black brush. I use a little soap and water on the tire and just scrub the tires with it. My tires are so clean you can wipe a finger across my tires and get no black on your fingers. I then apply tire shine afterwards. So far this is the best method for me. Hope this helps.

i use purplepassion or simple green to clean my tires with a med soft brush (something that wont scratch the chrome if it touches it). then i use meguires tire shine gel and one of those applicator pads to put it on. my tires look great and no brown stains...

Re: Cleaning tires on chrome wheels..

i just get a reg. tire scrubber and scrub the shit outta them and it got the junk off, then slap some tire shine on and its great. dont even have to clean the tires very often for as little as i drive. and for the wheels i just clean them with soap and water then dry them off then spray the with windex and use some of those polishing cloths and wipe em down. perfect shine and no spots!
