Cleaning rims???

Hey what is the best stuff to clean billet rims? I just bought some and want to keep them shining. Have any of you herd of stuff called zoops? It says that it keeps them shing for up to 2 years. Thanks for the input!

Re: Cleaning rims???

I use a polish called Speedy. It's actually what the truckers use and it's my favourite so far. I have some Flitz coming in the mail so I'm going to try that out. I've tried a lot of other stuff and really haven't come across anything that does a better job than Speedy. The only problem with Speedy is it doesn't tend to last long.

I tried Zoops and I'm not sure if it was worth it or not. I have a feeling it will keep my rims from oxidizing but it certainly doesn't keep them clean and shiny all the time.

Re: Cleaning rims???

well i used this eagle 1 shit in alittle jar that u open up and rip a peice of cloth out of it and u buff it on, it works really good another thing that iv used is this buffer thing that u put in a hand drill, it made my wheels look brandt new. billet wheels take buffing to keep shiny more then just spraying shit on and washing them off like chrome.

The stuff you used with the hand drill is called Flitz. The attachment for the drill is the "Flitz Ball" and the stuff you put on is Flitz. Apparently it's been around for a long time, just talk to any of the older car guys they know all about it.

Really, all you need is Mother Billit Polish.

If you want to speed up the polishing process, get a polishing bit for your drill. But the Mothers stuff works just as well when applied by hand.
