Cleaning Microfibre Washmitt

Just wondering if there is a way to clean the wash mitts other than using the garden hose and stuff. Like I have read how the towels can be put in the washer on cold by themselves with some detergent, but just wondering about the mitts. I use a seperate one for the paint and for the wheels so I dont know if they would get cross contaminated in the washer and shit. Thanks for any insight.

Ok cool thanks, I was just worried the brake dust may get on the other one and contaminate it or something.

Re: Cleaning Microfibre Washmitt

I just clean them in the sink with soap and water. I don't use a microfiber mitt though, I use one of those sponges with chamois feelers all over it, kind of like this but not.

So I fill up the sink, toss some dish soap in, and let the feelers float about and let the dirt wash clear. Those microfiber mitts seem like they wouldn't let the dirt get away and you'd end up scratching up your paint.
