cleaning glass?? need help!!!!!

i want to get the water spots that are burned in the windows off how do i go about doing that??? i allso have a sticker on the back window thats been there a few years and would like to remove it but doing so will only leave the remains of it. meaning it will be burned in the window. i have factory tinted windows. and my back side window have water spots burned in them. i have tryed many things with no luck please help!!!!

You can try some bar keepers friend or clr for local stuff. Or you can go w/ some ssr1 on a pc.

i tryed that. i tryed carb clean, baking soda and water, acholhal, i tryed a clay bar, i tryed rubbing compound w/ buffer. no go.

You can give some duragloss a shot. Can probably even get it locally.

i have never heard of it. ill have to see if i can find it lol sometyme today. thank you. i know the water spots are like burned in the glass kinda i guess that what youd call it. but like i said to i ahve this club sticker i want to take off and i dont want the burnt image left. if you know what i mean

00 steel wool with a soapy water solution. And for the sticker, razer blade to remove it then again 00 steel wool to remove the haze left behind.

Hopefully you mean 0000 steel wool? I wouldnt use anything more agressive than that! Even at 0000, you can still scratch glass such as your side mirrors. I'd only use 0000 sw on windshields, and I'd still be cautious.

Maybe cheep glass itll scratch, like the glass on my cheepy m3 mirrors. But 00 should not scratch you stock glass. But finer wouldn't be bad.

Eh I don't doubt that it will scratch some cheep mirror. I personally have used 00steel wool to clean glass with no problems. I'm sure if you used a lot of pressure and little/no lube it would scratch.

Another good way to clean glass is using a mild rubbing/polishing compound on a RO buffer.
