Cleaning / Detailing Question

Two birds with one stone.

How do you....

1. Remove tree sap >.<! (I parked my Ford Escort under a pine tree)
2. Remove stock decals (i.e emblems)
- I ripped em off now I got glue up there how do you get it off?

Its not that bad, its just falls on my window when I park under the pine tree in the yard. It just gets annoying when you run the wipers and BANG its still there, like you never did anything .. perfect. Looking at you through YOUR window with evil eyes >.<!

your paint will be fine. you've never dribled or seen anyone dribble gas down the side when re fueling?

you can even rub it down with thinner, acetone, mineral spirits, etc. if you wanted to, long as you dont let it soak. paint is pretty tough when it cures.... unless its a crappy paint job anyways.

wd-40 takes alot of junk off paint too... no matter what you use, you'll want to rewax the entire affected area when you're done.

Over spray removal clay & glass cleaner for the sap & tar and bugs

as for the stock decals a heat gun or blow dryer and a good thumb(prepare for blisters) and cleans the residue off with adhesive remover or and high volume alcohol

so the sap is only on your windows? If thats the case I would just use a sharp razor blade to scrape it off. If its on your paint, as the others have said, a clay bar would work
