Re: cleaning 212s?

any polish is good as long as your finish isn't screwed up.

just buff, then buff some more. take a break, and keep on buffing. a decent electric buffer helps.

Re: cleaning 212s?

Ya know I find it very hard to believe that Mothers Billet Polish is "thee best". There are so many other products out there and I've only found other Mothers products to be mediocre at best. I'm going to have to try some of this stuff and maybe join the band wagon.

You really like that stuff? I tried it and it does work well, but I found it to be messy and require a lot of extra polishing compared to some other products I've tried. If you have a set of wheels that need a lot of work a polish like Blue Magic seems to work ok, but if you just need to clean and bring back the shine then you can't go wrong with a product called Speedy. It's a liquid that just wipes on and wipes off. It does an excellent job and is combined with a Carnuba wax for protection.

Check it out:

i dont have billet wheels anymore.. when i did, i tried just about everything. i found that the worse the shit smells, the better it works. blue magic smells like shit. i never tried that speedy stuff, but if i ever found myself rollin on billet again, ill prolly end up givin it a shot. its doubtful though, i like chrome alot better. easier to clean
