Re: cleanin primer

do not use a pressure washer, i used one at the car wash and left lines in the primer, it looks like a black and dark grey zebra now lol

Re: cleanin primer

If the truck is really dirty wash it with a mild soap like you would normal pain, then windex it after. Should have mentioned that.

Re: cleanin primer

I used windex all before but it started not doing shit ...I just bought some meguairs soap cleaner...Im going to use it tommorow ...I has no wax stuff or anything in it ....I am going to use like a terry cloth hand wiper and wash the truck and than use like meguairs for the rims to ...they have flat black in them ....

but I did use windex last year a few times but I think it does have ammonia...I could be wrong ...and I started noticing it smearing in certain areas....just a heads up

Re: cleanin primer

yes windex has ammonia in it. Only use a light misting with a dry cloth to fallow it up. Dont use it to scour your pint or it will thrash it.

Re: cleanin primer

i gently washed my primered gate and rinsed it with a lighter stream instead of a spray and it came out just fine...
