clay bar ?
since i got stuck having to clean one of the servince trucks at my job, i need to know if clay bar will take out grease from last year. i used a pressure washer and de-greaser and it still would not come off. i know that the clay takes off the fine things but will it work for this, or what else should i try?

Re: clay bar ?
how hardcore is your work with having this thing that clean?
it'll probably still be a pain in the ass cleaning it, but clay should do the trick. |

Re: clay bar ?
Claying, for some odd reason, is my favorite part of the detail.., I guess I just like slick paint ![]() It also makes polishing and waxing easier as there is much less drag on the applicator pad... |

Re: clay bar ?
Clay is a great invention. Who would of thought!
If you run into a similar problem down the road I would actually try washing your truck with some Dawn, it has grease cutting qualities that other car soap doesn't usually have. Although don't go using it all the time as it will strip off grease as well as wax sealer etc. Not good... occasional use is fine! |
