chrome polishing?
I have some old center caps that I plan on running on my truck this summer, and they have like a "film" on the chrome that I cant seem to get off. I got the part that reads"chevrolet" to polish up like new, but the rest of the center cap, I cant seem to get off. anyone got any ideas?

Re: chrome polishing?
I can get it cleaned up to this point with my dremel, a bunch of rubbing compound and some chrome polish but at certain angles you can see lines from the dremel, anyone got a better idea on polishing these up?\

Re: chrome polishing?
I know this sounds weird but whitening toothpaste helps polish stuff up. Believe it or not, try it. It's really cheap, hahaha.

Re: chrome polishing?
I've used the powerball but I didn't think it did anything special. I use it mainly for hard to reach places on rims. Cracks and crevices I use toothbrushes and microfiber. I used some stuff I bought at the Chicago Auto show for my chrome. It gets all the oxidation off the chrome and shines it up like new. I used it on a pop can and turned the can chrome. NICE!
