Fiberglass that has been painted and cleared is to be treated like the rest of your exterior painted surfaces. Waxes or sealants will do the job.
What color truck?

i got this same problem. Wax and normal paint polish doesnt work too great. And i even tried a special fiberglass clear resin stuff made for boats to make it shiny and it just washed off.

Next thing im gunna try is Flitz

sorry to whore in advance:

kinda off/on topip:
how bout a soft cover - what makes that shine best? i heard dont use armoral on it or it will dry it out and when it rains, the oils run onto your paint...

ive read somewhere that aerospace 409 was good to use on them. something with no alcohol so they wont dry out.

Re: Can Armor Work On My Fiberglass Tonneau To Make It Shine?

I used to use Armor All on the glass body of my VW trike. It too was black.
It made that scoot shine really well. I once tried it on the seat too as it was
vinyl. Made it look really sharp too, but once I rode it and went around a
corner, I slid right off and tore my a$$ all to hell..

I also had to get up and chase the damn trike down. That was a STUPID
move and I never put Armor All on the seat again. People were laughing
their butts off at me. It was pretty funny...
