Buffing or clay bar?
Ok so Ive been reading about the claybar. My paint is a little rough looking. To get a little bit better look to it is it better to get it buffed or claybar it myself? Thanks

I used a claybar today for the frist time and it worked out great. I have a newer truck but it was a bit rough especially after this winter.
Here is a pic... http://www.s10forum.com/forum/showth...threadid=33797 I also usedan orbital buffer with a coat of cleaner wax and the gold class finisher wax. |

I have a feeling that claybar only works well for newer paint jobs. I did mine and saw no difference. My paint is eleven years old.
I only see a difference when I wax it. |
