black plastic
my black plastic on my cowl and my dumbo mirrors are fading, there are also some parts that got wax on them, what can i use to get this off and not make them look so faded?

Meguiar's=just enough---nice sheen/ new plastic look too much--- looks like you used armorall Rain-x= looks like new plastic/ last longer than meguiar's test on the bottom of your mirrors where you can't really see. The parts with wax you can clean with a stiff toothbrush soap and water. |

You can use wax blaster for removing wax from textured black plastic pieces. I'd then suggest trying trim restorer on them. IF they've been badly effected by the suns uv, they may not be returnable to oem look. I think i posted a link to trim restorer in the other interior panel discussion a couple threads away from this one.

oh, forgot to mention, you can also use peanut butter for removing wax in textured plastic pieces!
