Best Tire Dressing out there?
What is your guys pick for the best tire dressing out there. Most shine and least amount of run off onto your car. I used a no touch tire shine and had black everywhere which was crazy. Help me out for the show this weekend.

Gel seems easier and cleaner to apply. And it smells good.

Re: Best Tire Dressing out there?
all of the spray on tire dressings ive used always slung off onto the body. i've used both Eagle One and Armor All tire gels and never had a problem with it slinging off and both lasted quite a while on the tires

Re: Best Tire Dressing out there?
The armor all jell is nice looks good, never spun off on me, and lasts a while. Only thing I don't like is you really have to do two coats for it to be an even gloss, otherwise it shows like a blotchyness. Oh and it takes a bit to dry, ive had pollen and cotton wood stuck to my tires like no ones business.

Re: Best Tire Dressing out there?
I used to use the armor all gel and it worked pretty good and stayed on there a while untill it rained or else it would stay lookin fresh about a week, then I switched back to a spray and used the turtle wax wet and black and it works awesome too but you have to let it sit for a few hours so it wont sling. but i found a new gel, its in a black box and a clear bottle, cant think of the name and i've like it the best, no sling if applied right and stays wet and glossy for a long time

Re: Best Tire Dressing out there?
Recover Rubber Dressing by Auto Valet is the only stuff I will use, you can either just spray it on or rub it. It gives a really slick gloss and last for weeks which I have never seen any other product last for more than a few days. It repels dirt and water too so it doesn't stick to the tire. Smells like candy too.
You can't get it off the shelf thou, I get it though a local connection. They do have a website and online ebay store if anyone is sick of same old stuff. http://www.autofacts.ca/autovalet/ Anouther product, Purple Power does wonders for white letters too. |
