Automatic car washes
How do you feel about the auto carwashes? I get lazy and go thru them just about every other week. Is it really damaging my paint because I always wax or detail my S10 afterwards.

I have seen some bad shit from car washes because they recycle their water. I have also seen cars that it hasnt hurt them at all.

i like touchless washes as long as they have a filter system on their water, but ill never go near one with brushes

only time i go through the touch-less automatic is in the winter when its too cold to hand wash.. and even then, it has to be one that doesnt have the railing you have to drive through...

I just do it my self with the strong pressure hose, and i spend like 5.00 dollars. I take my own sponges and I don't use there brush shit!! Then just set the knob to spot free rinse and it comes out nice.

I will never truct the car auto washes. I worked at simonize car wash as a detailer and it screwed up some nice trucks and cars.PLus they want 150$ for had wahsed...WTF...!
I spend over 1 hour washing mine...that doesnot include the rims and tonno cover and waxing. But i have the cleanest tuck in town all the time.The interior is awesome all the time! I am a eat freak when it comes down to my trucks. |
