Are my RVM wheels fake?
this winter when i was polishing the frame on my dirtbike i was using mothers aluminum polish and of course like the package says if it is aluminum it will turn black... well i got the idea to see if my wheels would turn black. they didnt... so my question is are my wheels fake. when i was 18 and broke i bought them off ebay from them.. i may just be an idiot and not know of another metal it could be but if anyone knows how i could clean these wheels that would be great

Re: Are my RVM wheels fake?
They look like chrome to me which won't react the same as aluminum... And I don't understand what you meant by fake. Did you think they are made of plastic or something?

Re: Are my RVM wheels fake?
well i was putting them on yesterday and in the center caps this film like foil was peeling off... to me they seem very cheaply made.. but i hear RVM isnt a reputable company...
