Anyone use a hot water pressure washer to clean their truck?

I have bought one from Costco for $150~.

Electric 1500psi~

I run hot water through it and it does wonders in the engine bay and exterior.

Same for my bikes and the RX7.

Takes off all the dirt that would scratch the paint before I even attempt to touch it with a wash cloth.

Awesome for the wheels in removing brake dust.

Literally melts it off..........

Re: Anyone use a hot water pressure washer to clean their truck?

At work we have a gas powered pressure washer with a diesel burner to heat the water. It works well, just take your time and stay back, it does a nice job espically if you use the optional soap tap to. It goes up to 3500psi, but I dont use it full blast lol. Heres a pic of the one we got, if youve never seen one before...

Be very careful when using it on painted surfaces. The slightest paint imperfection can become a major paint disaster when hit with 3000 PSI. I've seen them peel a 2ft square section off in a heart beat. Also, under the hood show some caution where you aim the wand. Just my .02 worth.
