Anyone know how to install a grille insert?
I looked all over the front grille of my truck yesterday but there seems to be no easy way to go about this process.

Re: Anyone know how to install a grille insert?
Well if its a homemade girlle (which im assuming) it depends on the material. Im sure when you take your grill off you will find viable positions to secure ends of the insert by means of screwing, glueing or taping
Also consider how permantly you want the grill insert to be secured, I would consider the fact that an insert can be damaged, so you would most likely want to detach it at some point. ![]() |

Re: Anyone know how to install a grille insert?
If its a 2 piece insert you just take the grill off by prying off each tab carefully and then attaching the insert to the existing grill with some zip ties...10 minute job. I would also recommend putting a towel between the grill and bumper so you dont scratch either up during the removal process.
