Re: Anybody work at a chevy dealership?

Have you tried Goo-Gone? That usually takes off any type of adhesive. If that fails, try some rubbing alcohol.

Re: Anybody work at a chevy dealership?

I work @ a chevy dealership. But never noticed that. I did take it the SS impala out for a spin, got pulled by a VW GTI. Was disapointed with the V8 DOD.

Have u tried acrosol?

I work at a dealership and we use eale one heavy duty degreaser mixed with macquer thinner. We use that for pretty much anything on the interior including carpets.

Re: Anybody work at a chevy dealership?

when i got my seats recovered there was glue on the vinyl. the guy told me to use wd40 to get it off. it worked but i was really careful. maybe try a test piece where no one can see it.

Re: Anybody work at a chevy dealership?

when it comes to getting stuff off, wd40 is the stuff, I just shined the whole inside of my interior, and had a lot of little adhesive spots, wd40 cut through it, sprayed it on, and rubbed my finger nail over it and peeled it off, sprayed some more and wiped it down real good. Wouldn't really use anything except your finger though, anything else could just scratch the hell out of the vinyl.
