Re: aluminum rims

Post a pic of how bad....Is there a clear coat on them? If so you'll have to strip that off first.

Re: aluminum rims

Shit son! Sorry I can't see that at all on my shitty puter....I'll try tonight when I get to my g/f's(better puter).
If they're that bad I'd use a scrubbing pad to get the worse off. Then start wetsanding, start at like 600 grit or so and work your way up to 2000. That should get all the corrosion and w/e else is on there off. Then you can polish them with some mothers....This will make them look new, but you'd be looking at about 10-15 hours per rim to get it done right.
BTW: If there is a clear coat on there, use some paint stripper to remove that first thing.

with firefox, hold down right click, then left click the pics, it resizes them to fit to screen.

Re: aluminum rims

Try this.

Get your powerball and drill ready. put on some polish first, run the powerball around enough just to get the polish spread out even. then take you some regular old baking flour and toss that on the polish you just spread out and then continue powerballing

I know you might be skeptical but ive done this to several sets of aluminum wheels.
