so i was working on the camaro last night and i was in a big hurry to leave my buddies house so i didnt think to wash my hands, i wake up this morning to find nasty gritty greasy hand prints ALL over my seats and door panels .

i went at it for almost an hour with some "tough stuff" foam cleaner it did nothing but spread the stains around. what should i use? i can not stand a dirty car and wont drive if it is ....really

Yeah, try that first and see how it goes. They definitely work wonders. I didn't notice, what type/color of interior is in your ride?

Are you using the cleaners like the instructions say? Some you spray it on and let it soak before rubbing.

lol...I'm the same way. My car needs to be ridiculously clean, or now that I have my truck...completely covered in mud. There's no inbetween

Re: ahhh!!

Either Simple Green (smells good) or Castrol Super Clean should do the trick.

Re: ahhh!!

I actually thought of Simple green initially...I use it on a lot of stuff, but I wasn't sure how it would work on fabric

Re: ahhh!!

Use a brush, and a WHITE cloth(not a red shop rag), and some degreaser. Also, you could try using some acrylic solvent, but DON'T SOAK the material, because that stuff eats the glue that's binding it to the door pannel. Instead, put it on the rag/coth, and rub using just enough pressure to get the stain out.

Re: ahhh!!

theres some dollar generals around here got some stuff called m-30 laundry. I had some pine junk get in my silverado seats, and it dried. Looked like sumbody had been busy in there. Rubbed it on, and it took it right out. So if it was me, I would try that....thats my two cents
