Has anyone used their products before? Is the Claybar and Spray kit a good deal? |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
You can pick up a Meguiars clay kit at K-Mart on clearance for $6.99 or go to Autozone and they have the Clay Magic kit for $9.99
Just a few good buys I recently found ![]() Hope this helps... |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Sure, you could go to Autozone, Walmart, Dollar Store etc. but honestly the whole reason for starting our business was because we have tested and found an 'underground' market of truly premium detailing products that far surpass the quality of anything you can buy off-the-shelf. I am 100% confident that all our products are top quality, otherwise we wouldn't offer them to fellow minitruckers.

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
I've used the Meguires clay bar. I thought it worked ok. Until I tried the Adam's clay bar. It took off way more of the overspray that was on my truck that I thought I had gotten off already. The Poorboys detailer and wheel sealant keep my truck looking clean. I hate how long it takes to detail my car/truck, but this stuff makes things go a lot easier.
Quick shipping too. I'd buy from them again. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
I agree...,
However, on clay..., At this time there are only 2 "makers" of clay (that I know of) Clay Magic(Auto Wax) and Erazer. All the local and internet brands have purchased one or the other Auto Wax is strongly enforcing it's patents ("993" and "416") on clay..., If the clay is from another source, I would be very carefull, as Auto Wax is prosecuting..., (ask Forrest from Mothers, he was hit with a law suite) It's not like there is a big choice..., I wish there was as the price would be more reasonable. Hope this helps... ![]() |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
![]() There are only two patent holders for clay. However, I have used Mothers clay several times and Adam's Clay always seems easier to stretch out and a bit softer. This sounds stupid but the actual container his clay comes in is helpfull so you arnt stuck trying to figure out where the hell o put it after each use. Of course his Quick Detailer is the shiznit. If you use Meguiars Detailer you are missing out. |

LOL, I hope that marketing works out for ya. You do have great products but I wouldn't say those products far surpass anything I can get off the shelf. Where did you find this underground market, ROTFLMAO! |

Their shit has to be good. I saw Dallas & Derek down from Canada in Ft. Wayne, IN, & their T-Blazer conversions were sparkling. These guys take care of their rides, unlike me & my piece. o.s.....

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
I have posted some pictures of a detail I did this past weekend on my fater-in-laws 2001 Dodge Intrepid using Adam's, Poorboy's & Meguiars NXT. I would say it turned out very nice.
http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f74/quick-afternoon-detail-job-56k-death-174594/ Dallas also posted some great results of Adam's Metal Polish #1 & #2 on his Billet wheels. http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f74/info-cleaning-polishing-billet-rims-56k-beware-173430/ 5918MIKE, you seem to be in tune with most of these products and I did read on Dallas' thread about Klasse AIO. How do you think Klasse AIO compares to something like Poorboy's Pro Polish? Klasse AIO is a a great product and it seems like a lot of poeple are using it between SSR and UPP. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Klasse is very mild, it won't remove swirls like Poorboys SSR but it cleans up the paint and provides a great base for a wax or sealant after the polish. I would still use a good polish like SSR2.5 or Meg's 80 for swirls and then use the AIO, then Zaino, SG, or a good wax. I use the AIO/SG on my Jeep's stock chrome wheels and it holds up very well but I still want to try that Poorboy's wheel wax, i'll probably order a few things from you guys
....so are you guys offering an S10-Forum discount LOL! |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Umm yeah, "underground" as in not "off-the-shelf". Sorry if I made car detailing products sound like a drug.. although some of it does smell nice! LOL
I find it funny how a lot of good things aren't sold in easy access stores. For instance when was the last time someone walked into Autozone and picked up a Suicidedoors bag kit ? LOL I know Autozone doesn't sell bag parts (to my knowledge) but just giving an example of sorts... Mike I've never tried Klasse but it's hard to ignore all the raves, I think one of these days I'll be trying it. If it works really well I'll probably get some for the store. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
I guess it depends on where you live as to what's off the shelf though, and it's not Walmart and Autozone but I get what you're saying I just don't like saying that 1 product is so much better than other products when there is so much more to detailing than what product you use, I think we'll both agree on that, later guys.

True, very true there are no "magical" products out there... but generally speaking you tend to get what you pay for, that's what I really meant. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
i have checked out yer website and am considering making a purchase with some of your stuff you offer, always been a hardcore Meguiars fan, but am willing to try new stuff.
did any of you watch the TRUCKS! marathon on Spike over Easter, there was that lil ball thing that hooks up to power drills, started with a Z, anyone try that out before? My fiance's dad said he uses it down at the shop with the dump trucks and it is awesome, thought about buying one of those too. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Was it flitz? I have a flitz polishing ball and it works good. Mothers also has one now but I like these even better for my aluminum wheels

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Yeah I got some Flitz and the buffer with it but the whole thing seems a little gimicky. My first thought is it will do a nice job on big flat surfaces but might not work so hot in the tighter areas. I know Flitz is supposed to have some protective qualities to it as well but I think I would still top it with a few coats of Wheel Sealant.
I honestly think the buffing tools 5918MIKE linked to would probably work just as well if not better because the smaller heads and attachments can fit into the tight places. If anyone cares to see how this thing works I'll give it a try and document with pictures etc. |

Re: 20/20 Kustoms...
Can't complain too much about the Flitz ball deal. Here is my wheel after being in the rain and me
not messing with it for a week or so. Wheels are 7 yrs old.. http://pic14.picturetrail.com/VOL544...5/72335823.jpg Here it is again after me just standing there in front of it using the ball and a mix of Flitz and Blue Magic. Most work done was my right elbow lifting Bass & Co Pale Ale...Umm good stuff. Didn't take long at all. http://pic14.picturetrail.com/VOL544...5/72335814.jpg |
