... paint color? Whether it be stock, or custom. Yes I am contemplating painting the truck a single color, although a lot of people like the rendering, it will look good whatever I chose to do. I have recently taken a liking to very simple designs, something like this.

With a load of clear on that, I think it would make for one slick looking ride...

Re: What is your favorite...

That's a very nice color, but it would be so much cheaper going with a GM or Ford charcoal grey.

Well of course that would be the route taken, thats just the color that would be my end result, and a damn good picture to boot. I dont know what it is, the simple color scheme and laid back design has just recently became attracting to me. Sure, it might not stand out in a crowd quite as well, but, I could still see it showing good.

Alright, just making sure, the only time I'd ever buy true Lambo paint would be to touch up my Lambo, but that'll never happen,
But I feel you, I've always loved a simple monochromed, maybe a simple two tone, but partial to single color.

I like the look of the two tone, but I personally feel that a single color, like the picture I posted, would do just as good for me. The sound system going in this thing is very "elegant", i almost feel as if the blue, with the white would be a little bit much. Maybe that is just me though.. We'll see, thanks for the opinions, and keep them coming.

Re: What is your favorite...

All Lambo's are painted with PPG from the factory (at least the ones I worked on wile I was at the dealership). So the paint price shouldn't be too outrages, thow some toners cost more than others it should still be comprible to most high end paints. The paint code is in the front storage compartment on a PPG sticker, some of the codes were even hand writen on the low production and one off colors. So if you see one with a color you like and you can get a peek in the trunk you can get the paint code .

I just recently did a google search, and PPG has the entire list! thanks for that info! I am going to see if I can find a comparable color, and go from there.

Re: What is your favorite...

I love the Mazda Red Mica Metallic that is found on the RX-8. I'm going to paint my future motorcycle that color and re-apply the factory decals over it.

Re: What is your favorite...

I found that color while skimming through some internet sites as well. I love a nice red, but my previous truck was red, Id like a different route.

Re: What is your favorite...

the black wheels help add to the sleekness of that color. I dont think chrome trim would look nearly as good.

Thats an interesting point you make. I actually thought my twisted vistas would accent that color nicely

You know, I really cannot tell you why? I recently took a strong liking for simple, subtle paint schemes....

Re: What is your favorite...

a few years ago when i was working at a GM dealership bodyshop, i did a complete on a late 80's vette, the guy wanted a dark charcoal color and eventually decided on a color called "Storm Grey Metallic", its very similar to that lambo color, it came out beautiful, has a great flop to it, from different angles it goes form a deep charcoal to nearly a black

the color i had my heart set on to paint my truck is a new mitsubishi eclipse color called "Bizen Orange Mica" and its amazing... sadly its nearly $700 for just the base, im going to save that color for my next truck, i wound up with an ext cab truck (fell in my lap) when i really would have liked a standard cab.... so my current truck is just getting the flat black treatment and im calling it a day

... but im rambling..... and i think i need to go drop anchor
