Re: starting the S-Tang

i'd have to say no on both scoops. if did the one you were thinking of, i would use a s10 hood instead of the noma hood that you have done all that work to already

Why don't you post it in the classifieds instead of whoring out that ugly piece of shit in this thread.

And the previous gen mustang hoods are fiberglass, just so you know.

Re: starting the S-Tang

the back wont be anything crazy but as mentioned we will section out the bed to shorten it. we will weld in a rollpan and shave the handle and the tails. and we will do like we had done on the last truck before it burnt to the ground with the house. we had frenched some 50 something ford tail lights in the rollpan, it looked really good.

Re: starting the S-Tang

well we got the truck primed the night before. the next day before leaving we had to move the battery, hook up the headlights and put the bumper on. we worked all morning and just ran out of time. so we had to take the car out and it totally messed up our plans. but the weather really sucked so its best that we did take the car.

we test fitted the bumper many times as we were working on it. it always fit great. im not sure at what point the nightmare started but now that bumper is warped to hell and doesnt fit great anymore. we will have a bit of work to do there to make it fit again. its such a pain.

the bodywork is not done in these pics. the hood and fenders are almost there but the bumper is very rough bodywork under the primer. pretty much just one coat of fiberglass.

next weekend we will keep on doing bodywork and work on that pain in the ass bumper.

can anyone help with wiring?

Re: starting the S-Tang

oddly enough we dont have pics of the garage. maybe ill snap a few next time we are out working.

we got quite a few pics of the house as we built it. we had a fire in 2005 and built this one new. we did alot of work ourselves, all trim, paint, fireplace, tiling, hardwood floor, landscape etc, etc. still tons of work left to do, but atleast its livable now.

house pics

thx, we designed the layout of the kitchen, as well as the whole layout of the house. took many hours to put it all together but it all came together nicely. i have to say its so nice to cook in that kitchen. specially after having this kitchen in our basement, that consisted of 2 work bench, a toaster oven, a microwave and a mini fridge. we used that for about 6 months

i took pics of it so i would never forget!! old kitchen

Re: starting the S-Tang

well we're dinks you know..........dual income no kids. so that helps.
as mentioned we did alot of the work ourselves so that helps to cut the cost too. im a gov worker and my hubby keeps our small business going. do you guys remember a few years ago someone came on here with clear replacement for the amber section of the sonoma headlights...that was us. that took off in a pretty good business for us, and we are still going, check it out. www.klearz.com

i think we will explore some sort of retro mustang tail lights for the back, it would be neat to stick to a common theme.

we had a fire not too long after at our house/shop and lost everything. the markers were not a huge seller, we only sold a few actually, so we never remade them.

o plus you can just remove them and get the clear effect but some smoked headlights might be cool on a black truck.

Since there was the brief discussion of hood scoops how 'bout a shaker scoop. That is if you're going with the 302. Just a suggestion. They used shakers on a limited run Mustangs, not sure what edition though.
