Question s-10 lighting help

So i have a 98+ font end conversion done on my 97. My current headlights are yellowed out and in need of either polishing or replacing. which should i do? id like to buy the crystal headlights they look way better than the OEM lights i have now. also my turn signals are cracked/ hold moisture . I'm pretty tired of not being able to see well at night. also what HID would you guys recommend? id like to get the really bright ass blue ones LOL. xenon? or some other brand name bulb? so i thought id chime in for some opinions and options. ive almost hit two animals the past two weeks coming home from the girlfriends house. luckily i haven't wrecked yet only a matter of time now.

thanks in advance

Brandon

ps ive done the search button, and i get nomma's and all i typed in the search button was "headlights for s10" help would be greatly appreciated

Re: s-10 lighting help

id say if you are planning on getting new lights, now would be the time to get them if yours are yellowed and cracked

also, those bulbs that you mentioned arent HIDs, they may be marketed as such but theyre just brighter than normal bulbs that you can buy off a store shelf and dont require additional equipment... HID stands for "high intensity discharge", a -true- HID light system needs a ballast and special headlight lenses to work properly

Re: s-10 lighting help

those xenon ones are fine, i used them in my last beater, worked pretty good, nice and bright... all i was saying is that theyre not actually a HID light... for the price you cant beat them

yep for $9.XX LOL and yes i know what your saying. i google the HID and noticed the difference in them. pretty cool. but the price is a little high for me right now. the HID "kits" on ebay look like knock off's though...??? prices range from $150-$300 or so...
