Rally Stripes or no?

Well Ive always loved rally stripes.. but my buddy thats my main consoltent/helper know it all says it wont look good on my truck. But I think it would (hes the one that will be helping with body work and painting the truck when we get back from Iraq next year) But I am getting a cowl hood either the old school or silverado style and I personaly like the sivlerado ones. But I think white or silver rally stripes would go good with my retro theme I am going for. Input ideas ect.. thanks guys heres a pic of the truck to by the way

imo, its too early to tell. thats just a stock truck. do some other mods then ask.

well this is all going to happen within a few weeks of me returning from iraq. its getting lowered 3/4 or bagged (Without cutting the bed up) with some type of old school wheel ie torq thrusts corvette rallys salt flat specials ect.. havent 100% decided on any wheel but probably will end up with the vette rallys on it and maybe color match the wheels to the body..

I guess what Im saying/asking is would white or silver stripes look good with the color.. he thinks the stripes will clash with the color of the truck

Silverado style cowl? Do you mean the tapperd cowl?

And Rally Stripes meaning the normal SS stripes that Chevy puts on the S10s, or the generic Rally Striping that runs into the bumper and grill.

yeah ive always heard called it a silverado style cowl. and just hood stripes similar to the xtremes but painted in not vinal
