theres a thread on this somewhere. a lot of examples which then changed to rat rods which then got flamed for wasting good vehicles. any way itss there and there are some other examples of patina paint in there. just be warned, that people aren't going to like it so you can expect to get flamed....

the outside of the car is gonna stay the way it i. im gonna paint the frame, suspension, motor, but the outside is just too cool looking. the suspension is the only thing that isnt gonna be stock, im gonna bag it. if ure not into it thats cool its not ure car.

If you want pictures of some stuff then go to the HAMB. Dont use the word "rat rod" or patina. Most people that do there get flamed but some there are into that. BTW, Patina and rat rods are NOT how they used to build them back "then". Same with the primered look, they all wanted nice glossy paint, dressed up motors, etc.
Just giving you some warning before you go to a purist/traditional styled hot rod forum.
