New paint on my s10?

hey guys, I'm new to the forums and have been checkin this site out for a while and it looks pretty good. Well anyways, right now I drive a '98 S10 LS extended cab, currently red. A few weeks ago some girl rear ended me in the middle of a main road

go figure. Anyways, I'm takin my truck to one of my dads friends shops and he's gunna hook me up, fix all the dents and damages, sand it down, paint it, etc. And now I need to find a new color. I was thinking maybe a Candy Black with possibly two silver racing stripes down the top to both fenders. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for crit and inputs!

Since it's being "hooked up" I would ask what your limitations are and what cost you expect to pay. Then decide if you have the funds to change color or if he's doing it as a favor you don't want to take advantage and overstep what he may think he's getting into.

Just make sure you guys are on the same page with whats getting done.
