not sure if it has been mentioned or not,.. but why not get one of those el cheapo white neons from autozone and recess it into the top of the tag box,...

are they waterproof?

these LED's are nice because you can aim the light directly at the plate instead of straight out or straight down towards the ground...

i got a white LED light from pep boyz and its got like 8 tiny little bulbs...my plates frenched in the window and i had a sticky pad so i just stuck it to the top right over the plate and hooked it up to the old lisence plate lite wire

autozone or walmart plate light single wire lead coming off of it dome shaped in chrome. paint to match truck on the chrome side put a 1 inch hole through ur box slide it in done real plate light even
DOT approved

hahahaha. yah i got an led one for my roll pan at autozone. they are waterproof and work amazing! heres a sample not hte best, but since i tinted my tails, my led's are brighter than my reverse lights haha

my buddy got pulled over for something simular. The cop said the light was too blue... I have leds too but dont care if i get pulled over for them. Id love the argument.

In person that light is just really bright white. You can barely see any light when there are headlights behind me though.

man that light really makes your plate look fuzzy... i would change that before you get pulled over....

hey do you realize hundreds of people see your plate a day...why do you hide it on the Internet...the off chance a person is going to travel a good distance to rob you is very unlikely....if it is going go to happen it will be someone near by.....soo why?

I had those DEI Lite-N-Bolts from Summit and really liked them. They seemed to be quality steel and held up fine.
I guess you just have to install them correctly.

not mine.. mine lasted a week or less...i guess they dont like the vibration of dragging....

they were in the top bolt holes and the plastic nuts backed off on there own..
