that hood is gonna be messed up. The front end comes out really far by the grill. Hopefully its a bad ass cowl so it will flow better.

Much, Much harder. This isn't the same as just bolting in a new core support, bumper, grill and lights. The hood the bumper the grill and the fenders all have to be modified to fit properly and flow right. This is a serious project.

Re: Front End Conversion's

well im curious as to how hard of a conversion or maybe i should be saying how much would a conversion like this cost? can someone point me in a direction of a parts list or even a shop that has the skill to do this or if you know someone who has done this before let me know. i live in kansas so if you know of a shop thats maybe in a neighboring state that would be cool too, thanks.

not an idiotic question....although i havent personally done the swap, from what ive read on the forum it requires some custom fab work in order to get them to work. it is not a direct bolt-on. I'll let someone else, who has done the swap add more info

Re: Front End Conversion's

I haven't done the trailblazer swap but I know it takes sectioning of the grille and bumper to make them more narrow and also takes a good amount of metal work to get the hood and fender to line up, plus reworking the tabs/bolts that hold it on.

+1 to hearing about the 69 camaro conversion!

and I love the "S-250" looks awesome.

Just need the grille reworked at the top to match the hood and little gap between the headlights.

There isn't a build thread of it on here. If you keep searching a few pages, I think the answers to where you could find some build pics from another forum. No real "build" pics but a bit of progress pics.

that thing looked goofy with the hood shut. Needs a different bumper. But the rest of the swap was clean.

I think the stock bumper just slants to much and has to much of a gap making the front look a little off.

IRIDELow I think if you did a 88-98 full size bumper on that 2008+ front end it'd look pretty cool, the 99+ bumpers just don't look that good, and they'd be a lot of work because you'd probably have to section it left to right and up and down. You'd probably have to do further work with the 88-98 too to get the bumper to meet the fenders.
