Re: Front End Conversion's
Here is a pretty interesting conversion, a customer of mine hit a bear (of all things) with his SS Silverado and is now working on putting a 08 escalade front end on it. Looks pretty cool, it's getting ready for paint this week. He shaved the tailgate, stake pockets and is straighting the side moldings. He has everything working flawless- hood latch,HIDs,etc. Should be pretty cool when its done.

Re: Front End Conversion's
Yeah, its not perfect. But it was my first attemp at sheetmetal fab, 3 yrs ago. And I built it myself. There weren't 100 others to look at then. Its not worth redoing at this point there are a million of em. But I've seen a lot worse.lol...no hard feelings

In a check out line today, saw this in a WantAd and thought I'd share... Yeah I know it's no S10. But 'interesting' to say the least.

Re: Front End Conversion's
I seen the dually 2 weeks ago pull up at home depot. The handles were one of the first things to mention. Not to mention the wheel lug spikes. They are a lot bigger than they look in the pic. lol

Re: Front End Conversion's
On a side note. I think I am going to go to Raceway tomorrow and try and get a couple of fullsize grills to play around with and see what can be done. I have been searching everywhere to find info on that swap. Not much info, other than possibly sectioning off the width a lil and dropping the bumper a bit. Any input?
