Driver's Side Wiper trouble - quick question

Curious to know as to what the exact problem is with my driver's side wiper. Even after installing new wipers, it's like the wiper still doesn't fully contact the window giving it a clean wipe..( ) and as a result there are spots in my line of sight that are obscured making it really tough to see in rain. Just wondering where I should be looking for solutions as it's clear it's not the wipers at fault. Any ideas?

Any help is much appreciated.

mine did the same thing somewhat -

i took and flipped it up and bent the arm in some so it now forces with wiper to touch the window more - and with the new rain x wipers they work really good.

Yeah looking at it from inside the cab it looks like the arm itself got bent somehow so that's why it's not touching the window as much as it should be. I'll have to bend it back I guess.

Thanks for the replies.

Re: Driver's Side Wiper trouble - quick question

the spring on the arm could be worn out, which would cause there to be no tension against the window

Same thing is happening to me after I purchased those new sweet $30/set wipers. I tried slightly bending the arm to force contact in the middle of the drive side windshield (right in my line of view) but it didn't work completely. I think I might have to really bend it.

Get Rain-X
Could check the spring to make sure it's not bad.
