Re: Door set wrong
my gramps s10 was wrecked in the front before and now his driver side door has a gap going down by the windshield you have to crack the window when your driving it or it bothers the piss out of you. but the door itself is actually bent a lil causing that so he needs to get another door to fix it

Re: Door set wrong
the gap is at the top of the door? open your door, grab the top and brace the middle with your knee, and gently bend it inward, shut the door and perform the paper test, close the door on a piece of paper, there should be tension on the paper when you try to pull it out, but you should be able to pull it out without ripping it

Re: Door set wrong
Door could be bent, like Maverick was saying. I know my 03 was like that cause the original owner locked the keys in it and pulled the top of the door out to get a coat hanger into it. You can either try and bend it back, get a body shop to fix it, or try and find a junker and swap it out.

Re: Door set wrong
well my truck could have been wrecked in the front, im not sure i havent ordered the carfax yet. but i will. also when i pop my hood i have to tap it so it pops up. i was thinking maybe if i take it to my buddy bodyshop he could loose my front clip and realign everything the correct way. a friend of mine has a S10 and his does the same shit and he told me its from where someone locked their keys in the truck and they had to bend it a bit to get the tool in the door to pop the lock and only way to fix it is to replace the door....so...what to do...

Re: Door set wrong
Fonzi issue is due to the spring on the cable being bent (I have the same issue, lol). Shouldn't have to replace the door unless they bent the fvck out of it.
