door pin help

i just bought a 2000 jimmy. i knew the door pins were bad when i bought it. i just replaced the driver side but it still saggs and acts like its whoped out. whats next to fix this. also on the passanger side i beat and beat but couldnt get them to budge so i might just take it some where and have it done. thanks

Mine is doing the same on my 2000 s10, It sags REALY bad, i cant even shut my door, have to lift it to shut it, I replaced the pins and bushings and its still doing the same. i can lift the door up and down with new pins in it. idk whats goin on

if they were neglected beyond normal wear tolerances, and wore into the hinge itself, then hole will become egg shaped and just replacing the pins and bushing wont fix it

you have 2 options

1. weld up the holes and redrill
2. get new hinges (they are weld on hinges btw)

my door doesn't sag at all but it squeaks and pops like a bitch on the driver side, it's going to be a pain to change those pins I bet... might as well change both of them the passenger side doesn't look any better.

20 min job to replace pins and bushings. theres a how to somewhere on here.

I looked at it and it's not squeaking from the door pin, it's from the bushing thingo that lets the door stay open sometimes that bearing doesn't even spin the hinge just slides over it, I guess it better to just replace the pins while am at it, but can you change just that bearing? I just spray lube in it for now to keep it spinning until I get around to changing it, still finishing up college semester headaches.

How did you replace the bushings with the hinges still together?
