Does this look right?

I have a 2003 Sonoma and i just recieved a T-Rex 15 bar flush mount billet grille that I ordered for it. When I took it out of the box i realized that it wasn't the same shape as the grill shell. I know that I have to cut the existing grille out to install this one but I am pretty sure that the new grille should be already made to fit the space. Has anyone else had this problem or is it supposed to look like this.

thats def the wrong grill, thats like one for a full size gmc

actually it is the right height, it is just that the bars are not cut to fit the inside contour of the grille shell.

same thing happened to me with a grill for an 01 S10.....sent me one for a fullsize.....ship it back or modify it too fit but at the price of T-Rez grilles I would just send it back

im not sure about the bar type griles but mine is more round on the edges it doesn't look right.
