Was thinking about it afterwards...it wouldnt look as good with the 94-97 grill because of the section missing under the headlights if it was a chrome grill...a painted grill it wouldnt be as noticible.

How involved is the full-size bumper?

I need a new no-plastic bumper for my ZR2 and the full size looks nice and sturdy, I don't have a lot of tools so a lot of the cutting/welding would be by a welding shop, but I'd be doing the measurements.

i know this might be a dumb question but. i have an 03 s10 that was in accident and the original front bumber was all twisted up. My question is all these things are called "bumper covers". dose this mean that i need my stock bumper on the truck still or would I have had to take it off anyway?

Looking at the toyota bumper makes me think of the crashed mazda lowrider I saw in a junkyard with an all chrome Toyo bumper on it. I wonder what they'd let it go for.... Clashes with the murdered out theme I want, but I could always bead blast it and spray it....

Yes, someone on here did that, I forget his S/N now. But it does take a little skill to do. Lineup? No, the 98 bumper is taller and you will need to cut the end in half long ways and then section it to fit.
I was going to do it but never found another front bumper for cheap so I moved on.

Here's the beginnings of my front bumper

From this:

To this:

Trimmed the shelf on the bottom of the grille flush with the marker lights and will be reworking the plastic to smooth it back out. Bumper sticks out past the grill 3/4" now all the way around. Plan is to cut up a 88-98 fullsize bumper and add it to the bottom half.
