Cowl hood windsheild washer nozzles

not sure if this is the right section. I searched but it seems no one has a fix. I have a 2 inch cowl hood and my windsheild sprayers spray more on my bed cover then my windsheild. Any one have a fix for this? The stock nozzles dont seem to be adjustable.

Seems to me you can stick a straight pin in the nozle hole and aim the little eyeballs. Worst case you could remove the squirter and tweek the sheetmetal back ever so slightly with a drift pin or needle nose pliers. Just a guess.

There is no adjusting the nozzles on the stock squirters. You could try shimming the edge toward the front of the truck up to aim them down towards the windshield more or angle sanding the bases possibly. Other option would be hit up a junkyard for ones from another vehicle that are shaped differently or have adjustable nozzles.

Re: Cowl hood windsheild washer nozzles

I considered having them shaved and getting some squirters that attach to the wiper arms.

Re: Cowl hood windsheild washer nozzles

I think some recommended Monte Carlo squirters. I think they clip onto the arms.

Re: Cowl hood windsheild washer nozzles

i would shave them, but i just painted this hood, and PPG Deltron 2000 in victory red is not cheap. i could possibly get the clip on ones, and just leave the stock ones disconnected

Beretta's have them on the wiper arms also and they are aimed differently than monte carlos. I know this because I had to replace one on my beretta lol
