Take a look at this truck...you can see at the bottom he massaged the metal outwards to meet the bottom of the taillight... aswell... the top looks like it was pushed out also like I have to...

Silver is the best color along with white to hide body work I think if you look really close you'll se the owner of this truck did alot of body work. Look twice but i think i can see it

Re: Colorado Tail Light Swap **Progress** Help

beautiful job on the tails... are you going to round off the top more (where the bedrails meet the tails) with some filler to make it more like the silver one or just kinda smooth it like it is? Sorry if you've already said it, I just reread most of the thread, but it's 5 in the morning, and I'm a little sleepy.. lol

It can't look any worse than the back of my truck, with one tail light shaved, and a HUGE crack in the skin/rollpan.

Re: Colorado Tail Light Swap **Progress** Help

haha its not that ..its just bothersome that Its not going to be perfectly flat since im not pulling out the bed and I dont want to put to much filler ..so what I decided is to make it look flush even though it will come out a little ...but orangesonoma today wired them up for me except the drivers side is dimmer than the other side so I have to go over to him and check it out of whats going on

Hey man, you've got these thing going really well but your doing alot more work than is needed to be done. When mine were done we never did a skeleton and we sectioned the bedside a little bit to get the sides to match up. But your gettin there, i'm gonna attempt to throw some pics of mine up here.....

I did the wiring for mine and kno how to do the conversion, hit me up if you got any questions...

P.S.~ if someone will pm me and tell me how the hell to post pictures without using attachments, i will post more, BIGGER pictures....

hey Im actually going to work and wont be back until like 10PM...so I'll leave you with a huge Thanks ..and with more questions ..lol..

instead of sectioning out the bedsides dont you believe I can just pull out the bed sides instead ...

In one of the pics it looks like you went rather far out with the metal to extend the bedside... did you use a fiberglass filler over the metal to build up the area ...thanks man ...

in the PM I said to post at photobucket.com or putfile.com ...but if you could post EVERY PIC YOU HAVE...lol...if you would be so kind ..Ill get back to you later on ..thanks man
