Blazer Jimmy Rear window trim painting

I searched, and came up empty handed. If my trim around the rear windows is pitted, am I screwed? Or can it be filled and sanded? Please say its salvageable.

I'm not too sure either. Mine is terrible! I'd also like to know if that plastic trim can be filled and sanded. It's has a weird texture to it.

about all you can do is rough it up and flat black it whenever it starts to look bad...it's a gm trademark...lol

Re: Blazer Jimmy Rear window trim painting

Yeah but mine are pitted super bad. I don't even think it would be worth trying to fill.
The thinner sides look worse!

Re: Blazer Jimmy Rear window trim painting

I've had mine painted for a while now, no chipping yet. Just bodywork and paint like anything else.

Mine looked much worse after being in Vegas for a year. i went to a paint shop and they sanded it and painted it. Looks good and no more eye sore.

Improving the looks of your car is always worth it!
