i look at it like this its a project truck slash ex daily driver i do all the work to it myself. i see things like this if i **** it up oh well i would rather hack up my own shit and say i did it then have some body guy bend me over with out any lube just to say i have something custom do it your self and take pride in what you do regardless of the out come. i did kick my ass a few times for doing this because it turned out to be alot more work then expected but its done fo rthe most part and after its on the truck i will have a shit eatin grin on my face for weeks.

all you need to do is get down to a production line type of deal, make jigs for everything, so every hood is done the same way. just a though.

that's f*ckin sick man.. I don't have any idea why so many people are like " oh, that's not even different, you can get cowl hoods everywhere!" well, being that you can't get aftermarket NOMA hoods or headlights, I think this is the sh!t.. I've never seen anyone make a noma cowl hood or even modify one for that matter, so you've probably just opened some big doors with this, and for all those that doubted you, I think you just shut them all up with the finished product because that looks pretty professional to me, so I think you did one hell of a job.

me and my mother run a residental masonry company im the head bricklayer and on top of that im a firefighter and an emt i work for 2 diff depts.

so i got bad news for all that fell in love withthe hood i decided i wasnt happy with the paint so i wet sanded everything down and decided it was to cold to spray yesterday. i figured i was gonna be sprayn it this afternoon till i came home and found 3/4 of a gallon of paint layin on the garage floor so heres the kicker im broke right now so i got no more paint for a week or 2 but i do have one mean lookin floor nothin better then pearl concrete

Man, I have to admit that's one sweet friggen hood! I was slightly skeptical, but I think you proved us all wrong and came out with a bang. Can't wait to see it on the truck! And what kind of primer did you use? I need to prime my hood soon as well. Any info is much appreciated. Can't wait to see more pics! Pref. on the truck

okay thanks for all the compliments on the hood. but i do have to say this i was not doing this to save money i mean i didnt want to go out and spend 500 on a hood but i would have i did this because i had never seen it done and i wanna be the first im sure somebody else will try and copy it go for it i had mine first thats all that matters. i love this hood i work my balls off on this thing and now its almost back on the truck im proud of myself thats all im sayin is do what u wanna do and dont follow the crowd

okay here you go this is not a finalproject i only have it wet sanded still need to respray. i just wet it down with water to show everyone i will get pics of the final up as soon as i can afford some paint
