Weird problem after AHL & DRL delete

So I did the AHL and DRL delete mods, I did this once before on my old 2003 s-10, but for some reason when I turn my key back to kill the motor the lights always flash once real quick. I don't know why this would happen because I did it the same way as my s-10 and never had that problem. The only thing I can think of is that my s-10 was an auto and the blazer is a manual. It doesn't really bother me that much right now, but I do plan on a HID conversion in the future and I'm afraid that the blipping the lights every time I turn my blazer off will hurt them. Any ideas how to fix it?
