Rear Light ground issue.

Ok iv been having this issue on my 98 s-10 for awhile now. When i turn my night lights on and hit my left blinker it blinks extremely fast like there is a bulb out, when it blinks it strobes between regular blinker and back up light. When i put it into reverse only the passenger side revers light work's and all the lights on the drivers side rear shut off. Also when i hit my breaks the reverse light's on both sides come on. Keep in mind this only happens when i turn the lights on or it gets dark and they turn on by them self. This doesn't happen during the day when just the day time running lights are on. I have looked at both grounds on either side of the truck and cleaned the frame down to bare metal and redid the connector's and screwed them back down. Still does the same thing. I also changed the bulbs on both side's. Any idea's on what else i can check? Thanks.
