radio clock stays on?
ok, so my girlfriends uncle just put a new battery in his s10, its a 96 or 97, anyways, right after he put the new battery in the clock on the radio display was on...and it wont go off?! with the truck turned off and the keys out its still on bright as day. any ideas? im sure its just going to drain that new battery

I've seen that happen on first gen style radios, it ended up just being an internal radio problem in the one that I looked at. Nothing that swapping out for another radio didn't solve, could be what is going on with yours too.
Just convince him how much nicer and better sounding a nice aftermarket stereo will be in that truck ![]() |

hmm, i've never heard of that happening before, i noticed it right as i walked past his truck plain as day. someone told him that there is a way to reset the clock... idk what they where talking about thought, anyways, thanks for the help man |
