Press brake pedal and reverse lights come on?

I'm puzzled. This just started tonight. If i have my running lights on, my rear brake bulbs are dim like they are supposed to be, but my reverse light is also dim. If i step on the brake the left running light goes super dim and the reverse light brightens up. If i turn my left signal on it alternates between the running light and reverse light and blinks like crazy. Its like that on the passenger side too, but its not as bright and the signal works fine. I have no idea what this is, i just changed my left brake light bulb last week. Any help?

im having a problem very similar..check all the grounds at the rear of the frame , originally one of the grounds was barely touching, and some wiring was messed up...i pulled the harness from the truck for the tail lights and inspected/fixed/and re made the grounds

ok, i'll take a look at the grounds. It's that connector that has like 6 ground wires going to it, then it leads to the driver side frame right?

Re: Press brake pedal and reverse lights come on?

I got it figured out. There are 5 or 6 black wires that run into the black/green connector, 1 of which goes to the chassis for a ground. That 1 wire had come out of the connector so there was no ground for any of the 4 or 5 other wires so that was an easy fix. Thanks for you help guys!
