Power Windows Hate Me!
Ok, so a while back my window quit working after a while of just saying o well i found wut seemed to be maybe a ground wire(it was black) tht had a cut in it, so i fixed tht and my window started working fine, then one day it just quit working. I went and bought a new switch and put it in and rolled the window down and when i went to roll it up it started smoking and i guess it fried the switch. What could be my problem, and also if anyone has a 1st gen(88 or simular) drivers side window wiring diagram could u plz post it, thanx. |

the autozone website has wiring diagrams, also ive got a post in here about wiring up toggle switches, b/c those damn aftermarket switches are trash
