No headlight on warning chime

The headlight on warning chime doesn't sound when I turn off the ignition and open the door. Just noticed this yesterday after turning them on during the day, then forgetting to turn the headlights off after shutting the engine down.

I looked at the fuse diagram and nothing jumped out at me about which blown fuse it could be.

I haven't done any work to the electrical system or the truck, just happened.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: No headlight on warning chime

is your gauge lights on? the dial near the headlight switch? if its all the way down it disables the chime.

Thank you very much, that was it exactly. I had no idea that did that and it's been a while since I've driven it at night!

Thanks again.
